Micro-suction is a safe, gentle, and highly effective method of removing earwax. It is now the most popular and recommended treatment for ear wax removal. Using a precision medical suction device we can carefully remove wax, often without the need for water leaving your ears feeling clean and your hearing clearer.
Earwax irrigation is a modern and gentle method of ear cleaning using warm water that replaces the now disused and unsafe method of syringing. Unlike traditional syringing, this technique uses a controlled flow of water to safely and comfortably flush out excess wax. Our clients' feedback indicates this treatment is also particularly effective for itchy ears.

The Hellesdon Clinic entrance is on Heath Crescent, first driveway on the right through the large wooden gates and you can park on the driveway.

It is always useful to use ear drops for 2 or 3 days before your treatment to soften the wax. You may use olive oil (Earol) or ear drops such as Otex Express (Hydrogen peroxide treatment) as this can make the procedure quicker and more comfortable. Its particularly useful when having warm water irrigation.
